Get Married in Yellow
Tuesday, March 19th, 2013Rose Gold Jewelry
Tuesday, February 19th, 2013Rose gold has been on the rise for the past few seasons, but this winter has officially marked its comeback. Clients have definitely caught on to its splendor and making a significant switch towards this warm, precious metal. Â It compliments all skin tones and provides a unique look for one-of-a-kind style. I love it worn with white and yellow gold providing the bi or tri color ensemble look. Â Some of my clients were reluctant to start on a new path of gold color since they have a stronger foundation of either all yellow or all white gold pieces, but with rose gold you can add to present pieces giving everything a fresh look. It blends effortlessly!
Mothers & Daughters
Monday, January 14th, 2013We love bonding with out daughters, sharing meals, buying clothes and in some cases, even working together. Â Today, since the new 60 is 50, Â 50 is 40, new 40 is 30 etc., mothers and daughters are sharing everything from shoes to accessories, so how about sharing jewelry? I occasionally have a client who returns buying a piece of jewelry she had previously purchased but has been ‘permanently’ borrowed by her daughter.
David Mamane of Myjewelrybox.com offers the following tips for moms:
* Â Cocktail rings are the perfect accessory to share between mother and daughter. No matter what your age a great statement cocktail ring will always turn heads and never go out of style.
* Â Layering necklaces with a simple dress or shirt is an easy way to dress up an outfit without trying too hard.
* Stack diverse size bracelets and bangles as far up your arm as you can pull off.  Interchance smaller and larger sizes, styles and metals. Don’t be afraid to mix gold, silver and other metals. Stacking bracelets is a great way  to mix and match more expensive pieces with less expensive ones.
